I have ASTHMA but asthma doesn't have me. I have CHIARI MALFORMATION but it does not define me. I have SCOLIOSIS but it does not change who I am. I am AUTISTIC, but it is not who I am. I have CANCER but I am STILL me. Hi my name is Abigail. I am a 16 year old girl who loves school, painting, watching movies, hanging with friends, & being with my family. I have several medical issues that keep me at the hospital and doctors alot. Just because I have all the medical issues does not mean I don't have feelings. When you look at me funny and whisper, I hurt. When you come talk to me and befriend me, I am happy. When you tell me I am your friend, I accept you for who you are NOT for what you have or look like. Please remember that the next time you see a disabled person. We are not defined by our illnesses or disabilities, we are defined by our hearts and what is on the inside.
