Kissimmee, Florida

When I wake, I hear birds singing

I hear cars driving down the street

People everywhere are talking excitedly

My hometown is as busy as a bee

Maybe because I live near Disney?

Everywhere I look people are going from here to there

Bright and colorful ads touch the sky

It doesn’t matter if there is a grey cloud or two

There is always something fun to do

The hard part is choosing what you want to do

As the city lights turn on

Surprising explosions fill the air

The soft booms rock me to sleep

But before I go close my eyes, I ask my mom to “Kissimmee”

Just like the name of my wonderful city
