My son chose the 1910s as his decade because it was the era of steam ships. He was very excited to do an art piece about the Titanic. He spent many weeks studying various art techniques to put his vision on paper. Written by James The RMS Titanic was a mountain of steel against the sky. It was the biggest cruise ship of its time with 4 funnels. Sadly it sank in 1912 on its maiden voyage, only 4 hours after hitting an iceberg in the Atlantic Ocean. The 1910s also had many other steam ships crossing the Atlantic Ocean but nothing as grand as the Titanic.
