A.We encourage you to submit a personal story about how K12 has had an impact on your education and life. Be as specific as possible in telling your story. Please use appropriate language in your writing or your video.
Q.Why isn't my K12 Story viewable immediately?
A.We review all submitted photos, videos, and stories. It can take up to five business days for the review process to be completed. While most stories are approved, not all photos, videos, and stories will be posted.
Q.If my K12 story is not posted, may I resubmit it?
A.Please do not resubmit a story that has not been posted. We encourage you to try submitting a different K12story.
Q.If my K12 story is not approved and posted, can I find out why?
A.Sorry, but due to the volume of stories we receive, we are unable to respond to each person with the specific reason a K12 story was not posted.
Q.Will my story be used outside of What’s Your Story?
Q.What types of photo and video files can I upload to K12 stories?
A.For photos, upload files that are .JPG or .PNG. All other file types are not compatible. For videos, be sure files are saved as .AVI, .MPG, .MP4, .MOV or .WMV.
Q.What is the file-size limit for individual photos and videos?
A.Photo files should be no larger than 50 MB. Videos must be smaller than 2 GB and typically no longer than 5 minutes.
Q.What can I do if my photo does not display correctly?
A.Confirm that your photo has been saved and submitted as a .JPG or .PNG file. Also, make sure your photo does not exceed the file-size limit, and that the resolution is no larger than 3000 x 3000 pixels.
